Offchain Labs, the team behind the Arbitrum Layer 2 scaling solution, has introduced a dedicated tool for developers to create their own Layer 3 blockchains using the Orbit software stack.

With this tool, developers can customize their blockchains by defining governance protocols, privacy settings, permissions, and fee tokenomics. It also provides a safe environment for testing and debugging smart contracts and applications before deploying them as Orbit chains on the Orbit Devnet.

Anichess, an upcoming chess-inspired crypto game, has successfully raised $1.5 million in funding.

FTX, the cryptocurrency exchange founded by Sam Bankman-Fried, has filed a lawsuit seeking over $700 million in damages against several investment firms it had previous connections with prior to its collapse.

The defendants named in the lawsuit include K5 Global, Mount Olympus Capital, SGN Albany Capital, as well as affiliated entities, and co-owners of K5 Global, Michael Kives and Bryan Baum. The lawsuit alleges that these entities and individuals were involved in actions contributing to FTX's downfall.
