Junk News Sites Are Abusing Ad Systems With AI-Generated Content
NewsGuard found 217 sites, operating in 13 languages, and they're spotting new ones every week. They even found ads from major brands on 55 of these sites. This is worrisome because it's taking potential ad revenue away from legitimate sites.
This rise in AI-generated content is not just muddying the waters of online information, but it's also shaking up the internet's advertising model. It's something we all need to keep an eye on.
