Crypto exchange Binance has revealed it "assisted US law enforcement" in seizing $4.4 million worth of crypto assets connected to North Korean cybercrime syndicates.

Binance stated that they had proactively taken action against accounts connected to suspects over a year ago, in compliance with lawfully served warrants and in collaboration with law enforcement.

Crypto consortium Fahrenheit - which consists of bitcoin mining company US Bitcoin Corp., Arrington Capital, Proof Group, Steven Kokinos, and Ravi Kaza - has emerged as the winning bidder in the acquisition of the insolvent lender Celsius Network, court filings published Thursday revealed.

Fahrenheit will also provide the capital, management team, and technology to establish and operate the new public, regulatorily compliant company.
