1. Biden Running From a Tough Spot

As U.S. President Joe Biden announces his intention to run in 2024, he does so at the low point in job approval for his presidency. His slow and steady decline since taking office mostly reflects dwindling support from independents, particularly after the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, but also some softening of approval among Democrats.

2. Only Reagan Was This Low
