According to the Grenada Broadcasting Network, Sun was stripped of his title sometime after the elections in June 2022. The New National Party, which granted his position, was ousted by the National Democratic Congress. However, Sun has yet to acknowledge the loss of his position publicly.

According to a criminal defense lawyer, conditions in Montenegro's jails and prisons "haven't changed" from those described in a 2020 human rights report. Conditions are reportedly poor due to overcrowding and lack of medical care.

Ledger has managed to raise €100 million ($109 million) in its Series C funding round, at a valuation of €1.3 billion ($1.4 billion).

The hardware wallet manufacturer has noted that the fresh capital will be used to expand the company's distribution network and develop new products. Participants of the latest funding round include VaynerFund, Cité Gestion SPV, True Global Ventures, and Digital Finance Group.
