​ ​ New on the blog: A Few of My Favorite Things (February 2023)​ Welcome to February, friends! ​ We're enjoying the beauty of snow-covered everything right now... and it's so cold that things won't melt for a while. I'm savoring these slow winter days as I know the busyness of spring will be here soon enough... ​ A big thank you for all the great non-food Valentine's ideas you shared last week! Two of my kids decided they didn't want to do Valentines (their teachers said this was OK) and the other two are using something we already have in the house -- so I don't actually need to buy anything. Here are a few of your clever ideas: DIY heart crayons (made from melted crayons) Heart tattoos Water bottle stickers Pencils/pens/post-its Chapstick/lipgloss Flower seeds (so many of you shared this idea) Acrostic name bookmarks Origami hearts Crossword puzzle or tic tac toe game Handwritten note/poem And for those of you looking for a clutter-free adult gift this Valentine's, I suggest one of Bend Soaps' lovely Valentine's Gift Baskets (which are on sale right now!)
