Welcome to The Week in Charts, where we break down Gallup's latest insights on our constantly evolving world. Here are the five insights you shouldn't miss this week: | 1. Is the Pandemic Over Yet? | | Just as many of us thought we were out … a COVID spike sucks us back in. Many are wondering when, if ever, this pandemic will finally be behind us. When we asked Afghans whether children in their nation have the opportunity to learn and grow, a record-low 11% of adults said yes. While much focus has rightfully been on the rights of girls and women to learn and work, the economic collapse is further hampering the ability of nearly all children in the country to focus on learning and growing instead of avoiding hunger.
