| Are you going back into work? Employers and workers have been wondering whether recent remote work habits are here to stay — or whether post-vaccination, everyone should start heading back into the office. We asked Americans in a variety of industries about their preferences for working remotely, and what we found is ... complicated. As the housing market booms and housing prices show no sign of slowing their upward climb, we check in with Americans on whether it's a good time to buy or sell their nest. The percentage saying it's a good time to buy has barely improved from last year's record low. Are vaccine "passports" a good idea? We asked Americans what activities they think should require proof of vaccination, and the answers were mixed. Lt. Gen. Russel Honore — who served as the 33rd commanding general of the U.S. First Army at Fort Gillem, Georgia, and is best known as the commander of Joint Task Force Katrina — joins The Gallup Podcast to talk climate change and the rise of China. And finally, as the pandemic continues to ravage public health and most economies, we've consolidated everything we've learned using the Gallup World Poll to ask more than 300,000 people across 110+ countries and areas how the pandemic has affected their lives and livelihoods and if they are willing to be vaccinated.
